Principality extends educational partnership with Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation

Monaco continues supporting digital Holocaust education programme that has enabled hundreds of school classes to take virtual museum tours.

The Principality has renewed its commitment to Holocaust education by extending its partnership with the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation, a collaboration that began in 2022.

The interactive digital programme has already facilitated virtual visits to the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and museum for hundreds of school classes. This innovative approach allows young people to engage with this crucial historical site remotely, ensuring the lessons of the Holocaust reach new generations.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to combat antisemitism and Holocaust distortion through education and remembrance. By leveraging digital technology to engage youth, the programme reinforces the fundamental message of 'never again' and helps preserve historical memory for future generations.

The partnership demonstrates Monaco's ongoing commitment to Holocaust education and its recognition of the vital role that technology can play in making historical education more accessible to students.
