Princess Charlène unveils enhanced SPA Monaco facilities

By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial

The Princess of Monaco has revealed improvements to the animal shelter in Peille, designed to foster better connections between animals and humans.

Princess Charlène has presented the upgraded facilities at SPA Monaco's Peille location, showcasing enhancements designed to strengthen the bond between animals and their human caregivers.

The improvements reflect a comprehensive vision for animal welfare, with the site specifically configured to encourage ongoing interaction between rescued animals and the dedicated volunteers, veterinarians, osteopaths, groomers, and various associations that support the shelter's mission.

As President of SPA Monaco, Princess Charlène continues to champion animal welfare initiatives across the principality. The enhanced Peille facility represents a significant investment in creating an environment where abandoned and rescued animals can receive optimal care whilst awaiting their forever homes.

The shelter relies on an extensive network of volunteers and professionals who form what officials describe as a 'human chain' dedicated to animal welfare, working together to provide comprehensive care ranging from medical treatment to grooming and rehabilitation services.
