On Thursday 3 September, Prince Albert II toured the Lycée Albert 1er in La Condamine ahead of the start of the new academic term, accompanied by Minister of State Christophe Mirmand, several Government Counsellors and Ministers, and a number of prominent figures from across the Principality.
The visit marked the completion of a renovation programme that has brought modernised classrooms and a series of infrastructure upgrades to the school, which serves as one of Monaco's principal secondary establishments. The presence of the Head of State and senior government representatives underlines how significant the project is to the Principality's long-term investment in education.
For families with children at the Lycée, the improvements will be felt from the first day of term. The renovation also signals the government's broader commitment to maintaining public institutions to a standard consistent with Monaco's wider infrastructure ambitions.
