Prince Albert II has received ten newly accredited ambassadors at the Prince's Palace, with four presenting credentials on 25 October and six more on 27 October, representing nations across Europe, Oceania, Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and North America.
Prince Albert II has formally received ten newly accredited ambassadors at the Prince's Palace in consecutive ceremonies, significantly expanding Monaco's diplomatic network. The first group of four envoys, representing Greece, New Zealand, Jamaica and Gabon, presented their Letters of Credence on 25 October, followed by six additional ambassadors from Canada, South Korea, Burundi, El Salvador, Thailand and Lebanon on 27 October.
These ceremonies follow established protocol for the accreditation of foreign diplomats to the Principality, with each ambassador formally presenting their letters to mark the official start of their diplomatic representation. Together, the new appointments strengthen Monaco's bilateral ties across Europe, Oceania, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and North America.
Whilst largely symbolic in the day-to-day life of residents, these accreditations underline Monaco's continued role as a recognised sovereign state maintaining diplomatic relations well beyond its size, with representatives now spanning six continents.
