Primary school children spread Christmas cheer to isolated elderly residents

Six primary school pupils brought festive joy to Monaco's most vulnerable elderly residents this Friday as part of the annual Christmas gesture initiative. The young volunteers started their morning at 9am, helping to distribute carefully prepared hampers and gifts to 30 beneficiaries across the principality.

The heartwarming tradition, coordinated by Monaco Town Hall's Seniors and Social Action Service, focuses particularly on reaching those elderly residents who face isolation during the holiday season. By involving local schoolchildren in the delivery process, the initiative creates meaningful intergenerational connections whilst teaching young people about community service and caring for others.
