Paul Pogba left the pitch with heavy strapping after suffering an apparent left thigh injury during a training session at St George's Park.
Paul Pogba went down during a small-sided training exercise at St George's Park on Tuesday, AS Monaco's base for their pre-season camp in England this week. The 2018 World Cup winner appeared to clutch his left thigh before leaving the pitch supported by medical staff, with heavy strapping visible on the leg.
The timing is a concern for Monaco heading into the new season. Pogba, who joined the club after his ban from professional football was cut short, had been working his way back to match fitness, and any significant thigh problem could set that process back considerably. The club has not yet issued a statement on the severity of the injury.
