Pogba and Fati join Monaco's 33-man England training camp

AS Monaco have flown to St George's Park for a six-day pre-season camp, with Paul Pogba and Ansu Fati included despite picking up injuries during preparation.

AS Monaco departed for England on Saturday 8 August for a six-day training camp at St George's Park, the Football Association's national training centre in Staffordshire. Head coach Filipe Luis named a squad of 33 players for the trip, a notably large group that reflects the club's unsettled summer roster.

Paul Pogba and Ansu Fati are both included despite sustaining injuries during pre-season preparation. Their presence in the travelling party suggests the medical staff are confident both players can resume work during the camp, though neither is expected to feature in any friendly fixtures held there.

Also in the squad are Lamine Camara and Folarin Balogun, two players who have been strongly linked with exits this summer. Their inclusion does not close the door on transfers before the window shuts, but it does indicate that, for now, both remain part of Filipe Luis's plans as the club builds towards the new Ligue 1 season.
