Paris University Students Explore Monaco Diplomacy at Embassy Visit

Ambassador Valérie Bruell-Melchior welcomed Paris university students to discuss Monaco's diplomatic role and international relations.

The Monaco Embassy in France recently hosted students from the Inter-University Committee of the United Nations in Paris, offering them insights into the Principality's diplomatic activities and international engagement.

Ambassador Valérie Bruell-Melchior opened the session by discussing current Monaco affairs and geopolitical issues, explaining her role as the Principality's representative to both France and Andorra. She highlighted the recent visit of Andorran Prime Minister Xavier Espot Zamora to Monaco, which took place from 19 to 21 March 2026.

The diplomatic team provided the students with a comprehensive overview of Monaco, covering its rich history, governmental institutions, and foundational principles. This educational exchange demonstrates Monaco's commitment to engaging with young people interested in international relations and diplomacy.

Such initiatives help strengthen ties between Monaco and France's academic community whilst providing future diplomats and international relations specialists with valuable firsthand knowledge of the Principality's unique position in European diplomacy.
