On-demand ClicBus service expands to include hospital connections
The flexible transport service now connects CHPG hospital to its network, enhancing mobility options across Monaco's hard-to-reach areas.
The Principality's on-demand transport solution has broadened its reach to include the Princess Grace Hospital Centre, offering residents and visitors improved access to healthcare facilities.
Launched in March 2024 under government initiative and operated by Monaco's bus company CAM, the flexible service fills crucial gaps in urban mobility by reaching areas where traditional bus routes cannot operate effectively. The system currently connects the Plati, Fleurs, and Annonciade neighbourhoods to four key transport hubs throughout the Principality.
Passengers can access the service through connections at Place d'Armes, Fontvieille Shopping Centre, Monte-Carlo Tourism office, and Place des Moulins. The addition of hospital connectivity represents a significant enhancement to the service, making medical appointments and hospital visits more accessible for residents in previously underserved areas.
This expansion reflects Monaco's commitment to comprehensive public transport coverage, ensuring that even the most challenging geographical areas benefit from efficient mobility solutions.
