Monaco will host the third Ocean Space Forum on 2 July 2026, bringing together policymakers, scientists and space industry leaders to address ocean and climate challenges.
The third edition of the Ocean Space Forum takes place in Monaco on 2 July 2026, with the Principality once again serving as the setting for a high-level dialogue on the relationship between space technology and ocean science. The event draws public decision-makers, international organisations, researchers, and representatives from the space and maritime industries under one roof.
This year's programme focuses on the growing role of spatial technologies in understanding, protecting and sustainably managing the world's oceans. Thematic roundtables and conference sessions will explore how satellite data and space-based monitoring tools are reshaping approaches to ocean governance and climate response.
Monaco's involvement is a natural fit given the Principality's long-standing commitments to marine conservation and its position as a hub for oceanographic research, anchored by institutions such as the Institut Océanographique. For residents and the broader scientific community based here, the Forum represents one of the more substantive international gatherings on the summer calendar.
