Norris watches Monaco E-Prix for the first time

Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris attended the second Monaco E-Prix on Sunday 17 May, marking his first experience of the all-electric series.
Lando Norris, who claimed the Formula 1 world championship with McLaren in 2025, was in the Principality on Sunday to watch the second race of the Monaco E-Prix. It was his first time attending a Formula E event, and he left with a positive impression of the series.
Norris singled out the unpredictability of electric circuit racing as its main appeal, noting the chaos and the unexpected outcomes that audiences associate with motorsport at its best. For a champion more accustomed to sitting in the cockpit than the grandstand, the visit offered a different vantage point on racing around the streets of Monaco.
