No trains to Monaco on 13 June as rail works bite
By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial
A full-day suspension of rail services between Les Arcs-Draguignan and Monaco on Saturday 13 June will affect all travellers using the Marseille-Vintimille line.
Anyone planning to travel to or from Monaco by train on Saturday 13 June will need to make alternative arrangements. The entire section between Les Arcs-Draguignan and Monaco is being taken out of service for the full day as part of continuing modernisation works on the Marseille-Vintimille coastal corridor.
Residents commuting along the Côte d'Azur and visitors arriving from further west face the most disruption. Replacement bus services are expected to operate during the closure, but journey times will be significantly longer than usual. Those with connections through Nice-Ville or heading to Gare de Monaco-Monte-Carlo should check SNCF schedules ahead of time and build in extra travel time.
