New US entry health form required from 3 November

From 3 November, all travellers to the United States, including Monegasques and residents, must complete a new health attestation before boarding.
From 3 November, anyone flying to the United States will need to present a signed health attestation linked to Ebola screening before being allowed to board. The requirement, confirmed by the Monaco government, applies to all passengers regardless of nationality, meaning Monegasque citizens and residents of the Principality travelling to the US are equally affected.
Airlines have been given responsibility for checking the form at check-in, and carriers have been told they can refuse boarding to anyone who cannot produce a completed attestation. The document itself is issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and must be filled in and signed ahead of departure, with no indication yet of an onboard or in-airport alternative.
For Monaco residents who regularly travel to the US for business or family reasons, including those with second homes or investments across the Atlantic, this adds an extra administrative step to pre-flight preparations. Anyone booking US travel from early November onwards should download the CDC form in advance and check the accompanying guidance on the attestation order before heading to the airport.
