New online portal for Monaco housing applications launches

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

A new MonGuichet.mc teleservice for housing applicants goes live on 5 November 2026 as the first step of the Experience Logement reform.

From 5 November 2026, residents applying for housing in the Principality will be able to use a new teleservice on MonGuichet.mc, marking the first stage of the government's Experience Logement initiative. The launch follows an announcement made on 23 October by Frédéric Cottalorda, Minister of Finance and Economy, who outlined the plan to modernise how housing applications are handled.

The platform is the result of joint work between the Direction de l'Habitat, the Direction du Développement des Services Numériques and the Direction des Infrastructures et des Systèmes d'Information. It is designed to simplify the administrative steps involved in applying for state-managed housing, a process that has long required paperwork submitted in person or by post.

For anyone on Monaco's housing lists, the shift to a digital pathway should mean fewer trips to counters and clearer tracking of application status. Further details on the scope of the teleservice and subsequent phases of the Experience Logement programme are expected as the rollout continues.
