New Lancia association launches at Automobile Club de Monaco

A Monegasque association honouring automotive pioneer Vincenzo Lancia has been inaugurated at the Automobile Club de Monaco, with Prince Albert II in attendance.
The Automobile Club de Monaco hosted the inauguration of a new Monegasque association dedicated to the legacy of Vincenzo Lancia, the Italian automotive pioneer whose name remains one of motorsport's most storied. Prince Albert II attended the ceremony, lending the occasion formal recognition at the highest level of the Principality.
The association was founded by one of Lancia's granddaughters, and its stated ambition reaches beyond simple heritage preservation. Rather than treating Lancia's contribution as a closed chapter, the founders intend to draw on the values and inventive drive that defined his career as a basis for future projects and initiatives.
The choice of the Automobile Club de Monaco as the setting is fitting. The ACM has been the institutional home of Monaco's deep connection to motorsport for well over a century, and Lancia's own racing career intersected with that world at its earliest and most formative period. The new association now has an official Monegasque home from which to pursue its work.
