The Municipal Council has approved plans to add one floor and 12 additional apartments to the Palais Honoria development on Boulevard de Belgique.
The Municipal Council has given the go-ahead for significant expansion plans at Palais Honoria, currently under construction on Boulevard de Belgique. The approved modifications will see the addition of one extra storey and 12 new residential units to the development.
The original blueprint for the project at number 2 Boulevard de Belgique featured 14 above-ground floors and four basement levels, housing 65 apartments alongside 173 parking spaces, two commercial offices, and a childcare facility.
Developers had initially sought permission to increase the residential offering to 84 apartments total, though the council appears to have approved a more modest expansion. The approved changes will transform what was already a substantial residential project into an even larger housing development in one of Monaco's prime locations.
The decision reflects the Principality's ongoing efforts to address housing demand whilst maintaining careful oversight of new construction projects through the municipal planning process.
