MonGuichet.mc adds business address change tool

By Alexandre Morel, MonacoViews Editorial

Companies registered in the Principality can now transfer their registered office or open a secondary premises entirely online, ending a paper-based process.

Businesses registered in the Principality have a new reason to log in to MonGuichet.mc. A dedicated teleservice, developed jointly by the Direction du Développement Économique and the Direction des Services Numériques, now allows company directors and authorised representatives to handle registered office transfers and secondary premises openings without setting foot in an administrative office.

Until now, both procedures required submitting a physical dossier — a time-consuming step that added friction for busy operators managing Monaco-based entities. The fully dematerialised process brings these two common corporate formalities in line with the broader digital-first approach the government has been rolling out across MonGuichet.mc in recent years.

For the many holding companies, family offices, and active trading businesses that keep their registered address in the Principality, the change is a practical one. Updating a siège social or registering a local annexe can now be completed online at any hour, reducing delays and removing the need to coordinate paper submissions with the DDE directly.
