MonacoTech Unveils New 'Test in Monaco' Strategy, Flipping Start-up Selection Process

By MonacoViews Editorial, MonacoViews Editorial

The Principality's incubator now prioritises local business needs when choosing start-ups to support, marking a strategic shift after nine years.

The Principality's business incubator has announced a fundamental shift in how it selects and nurtures emerging companies. Director Chloé Boscagli outlined the new approach during a press conference, revealing that MonacoTech will now reverse its traditional recruitment method.

Rather than simply choosing promising start-ups and hoping they find their market, the incubator will identify specific needs within Monaco's existing business community first. This demand-led approach means start-ups will be selected based on their ability to solve real problems faced by local companies.

The initiative, branded 'Test in Monaco', represents a mature evolution for the nine-year-old incubator. By aligning entrepreneurial innovation with genuine market demand, MonacoTech aims to create more sustainable business relationships and increase the likelihood of commercial success.

Applications are now being accepted under this new framework, offering start-ups the opportunity to develop solutions tailored to Monaco's unique business environment while gaining access to an established network of potential clients.
