The ACM is working to increase female involvement in car racing, building on Monaco's rich automotive heritage dating back to 1890.
The Automobile Club de Monaco is taking steps to encourage more women to participate in competitive motorsport, recognising the need to broaden participation in racing disciplines.
Monaco's connection to motorsport runs deep, with the Principality serving as a global hub for automotive innovation and competition. This passion for racing has become one of the territory's defining characteristics, cementing its reputation worldwide.
The ACM's automotive legacy began on 26th August 1890, when 21 cycling enthusiasts established what would become an exclusive institution dedicated to motorised vehicles. Originally focused on two-wheeled transport, the club naturally evolved to embrace four-wheeled racing as the automotive industry developed.
By actively promoting female participation in motorsport, the ACM continues to adapt its mission whilst honouring the pioneering spirit that has driven Monaco's automotive culture for more than a century.
