Monaco United beat AC Avignonnais 18-0 at Stade Didier-Deschamps on Sunday, their fourth straight win this season.
Sunday's fixture at Stade Didier-Deschamps turned one-sided within minutes as Monaco United's women's side put eighteen goals past AC Avignonnais without reply. The result keeps the club unbeaten through four matches and holds them at the top of the Régional 1 Féminin table heading into the autumn fixtures.
The scoreline is the heaviest of the campaign so far for the Monegasque club, who have scored freely in each of their opening games. Attention now turns to a Coupe de France derby, a tie that will test the squad against stiffer opposition than Sunday's visitors provided.
For supporters following the women's game in the Principality, the run reinforces Monaco United's standing as one of the region's stronger sides this season, with the league table and cup form both pointing towards a competitive autumn.
