Monaco town hall revives White Sails drive for Lenval children

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The Mairie de Monaco has placed donation boxes at two municipal sites to raise funds for children treated at the Fondation Lenval in Nice.

The Mairie de Monaco has launched its annual 'Les Voiles Blanches' fundraising campaign for the second consecutive summer, with collection boxes now installed at two communal locations inside the Principality. The initiative aims to support children who are hospitalised at the Fondation Lenval, the specialist children's hospital serving the wider Côte d'Azur region.

The campaign reflects the close ties Monaco maintains with Lenval, which treats many children from the Principality given the absence of a dedicated paediatric hospital within its borders. Residents and visitors passing through the participating municipal sites are invited to contribute directly to the fund.

No end date for the collection has been announced, so those wishing to donate are encouraged to look out for the boxes at communal facilities managed by the Mairie during the summer period.
