The traditional Christmas bread ceremony took place at Monaco's Town Hall on Tuesday 23rd December, bringing together local officials and cultural groups.

Monaco's Town Hall welcomed residents and dignitaries for the cherished Pan de Natale ceremony on Tuesday 23rd December, continuing a beloved local Christmas tradition. The event was jointly organised by the Municipal Institution and the National Committee of Monégasque Traditions.

Mayor Georges Marsan presided over the festivities alongside several deputy mayors, including Marjorie Crovetto (2nd Deputy), Jacques Pastor (4th Deputy), Jean-Marc Deoriti-Castellini (7th Deputy), Karyn Ardisson Salopek (8th Deputy), and André J. Campana (9th Deputy).

The Pan de Natale ceremony represents one of Monaco's most enduring Christmas customs, celebrating the principality's cultural heritage through the symbolic sharing of traditional Christmas bread. This annual gathering reinforces community bonds during the festive season whilst honouring centuries-old Monégasque traditions that continue to thrive in the modern principality.
