Monaco to host Council of Europe Sports Ministers in November

The Principality is preparing to host the 19th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers Responsible for Sport on 3 and 4 November 2026, one of the most significant intergovernmental gatherings in European sport policy.
Monaco's delegation attended a recent Council of Europe sports experts meeting to present the preparations under way for the November conference. The theme chosen for the gathering is "A Safer and Healthier Sport for All Children", reflecting a broad European priority around child welfare in competitive and recreational sport.
Delegates and youth representatives held working discussions at the preparatory meeting, developing recommendations that will feed directly into the ministerial decisions adopted when the conference convenes in Monaco. The outcome documents are expected to shape Council of Europe sport policy for the coming years.
