Monaco Taxi Fares Revised: €18 in Town, €110 to Nice Airport

New official taxi tariffs published in the Journal de Monaco set fixed fares for journeys within the Principality and to key Riviera destinations, effective day and night.
Taxi fares across the Principality have been officially revised, with a new schedule published in the Journal de Monaco and taking effect immediately for all journeys, regardless of the hour. Passengers travelling within Monaco will pay a fixed fare of €18, while a trip to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is set at €110.
The updated tariff table extends beyond Monaco's borders, covering fixed-price journeys to popular destinations along both the French and Italian Riviera. The day-and-night uniformity removes the uncertainty that previously came with late-night or early-morning transfers, a practical change for residents commuting to the airport or returning from events along the coast.
Fixed taxi pricing has long been a feature of Monaco's transport offer, but revisions to the schedule draw attention whenever they touch high-frequency journeys. For property owners and regular visitors who rely on taxis as their primary ground transport link to Nice Airport and surrounding areas, the new rates represent the benchmark against which private hire and limousine services will inevitably be measured.
