AS Monaco welcome Lille to the Stade Louis II this Sunday at 3pm for the eighth round of the Ligue 1 season, a fixture that will test the squad's depth after a string of fixtures. Coach Filipe Luis has confirmed his matchday group, with the injury list shorter than in recent weeks.
Eric Dier remains out with a thigh problem, while Stanis Idumbo is sidelined with a psoas issue, the only two absentees through injury this time round. The rest of the first-team squad is otherwise available for selection ahead of kick-off.
Four players have not been called up for the Lille match: Mika Biereth, Pape Cabral, Anis Soubeir and Safouane Benzahra. No reason has been given for their omission, leaving supporters to speculate on whether this reflects tactical rotation or form rather than fitness concerns.
