Isabelle Berro-Amadeï represented Monaco at the Council of Europe's annual gender equality conference, a flagship event of the Principality's current Presidency of the Committee of Ministers.
Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Monaco's Government Counsellor-Minister, travelled to Strasbourg on 10 June to attend the annual conference of the Council of Europe's Commission on Gender Equality. The event forms a central pillar of Monaco's thematic priorities during its Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, with the protection of women placed at the heart of the Principality's agenda for the term.
Beyond the gender equality conference, Berro-Amadeï also addressed the Committee of Ministers in its Human Rights formation, reaffirming Monaco's commitment to the execution of judgments handed down by the European Court of Human Rights. The dual appearance underlines the active diplomatic role Monaco is playing at the Council of Europe during this presidency period, using its platform to push concrete positions on both equality and human rights enforcement.
