Monaco joins Tour de France caravan with three liveried vehicles

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

Three red-and-white branded vehicles will carry Monaco's environmental messaging to roadside crowds across France for three weeks starting this Saturday.

Starting this Saturday, three vehicles in Monaco's red-and-white livery will join the official caravan of the Tour de France, travelling ahead of the peloton through France for the duration of the three-week race. The Principality is using the caravan's vast roadside audience to broadcast its environmental messages to the public.

The Tour de France caravan is one of the most watched free public spectacles in the world, drawing millions of spectators to roadsides each July. For Monaco, the placement represents a deliberate choice to extend its environmental communications well beyond the Principality's borders, reaching audiences in every region the race passes through. Residents and followers of Monaco's sustainability initiatives will recognise this as consistent with the broader environmental commitments the government has promoted in recent years.
