Monaco hosts RESOPOLIS international policing summit

RESOPOLIS, the international policing network linking security attachés from nearly forty countries, has convened in Monaco to strengthen cross-border law enforcement ties.
Nearly forty nations were represented in Monaco this week as RESOPOLIS held one of its regular summits in the Principality, bringing together interior security attachés and liaison officers who operate across both French and Monegasque jurisdictions. The gathering is a practical working session, not a ceremonial one, focused on sharing experience and improving mutual understanding of different national policing systems.
Founded in 2008, RESOPOLIS functions as a non-profit association dedicated to building professional networks among officers posted abroad. For Monaco, whose security apparatus works in close coordination with French national police, these relationships are a functional necessity rather than a diplomatic courtesy. The Principality's compact geography and high-profile resident population make international policing cooperation a standing priority for the government.
