AS Monaco face fellow leaders Lille at the Stade Louis-II on Sunday afternoon in a match between two clubs chasing European places.
AS Monaco welcome Lille to the Stade Louis-II this Sunday at 3pm, with both sides level at the top of Ligue 1 alongside three other clubs heading into matchday 8. The fixture pits two of the division's form teams against each other, each with ambitions of securing continental football come May.
Coach Filipe Luis has opted for continuity at the back, retaining the same central defensive pairing that started Thursday's Europa Conference League tie against Freiburg. Vanderson Teze lines up alongside Soungoutou Sané in the heart of defence, while Ansu Fati takes his place on the left flank, a role he has made his own in recent weeks.
For supporters heading to the Rocher this weekend, it promises to be one of the more closely watched fixtures of the autumn, with both clubs needing a result to maintain their push up the table. Traffic around the stadium and the Fontvieille approach roads is expected to be heavier than usual from early afternoon.
