Monaco honours 332 students at first Maths Olympiad

Collège Charles-III hosted the prize-giving ceremony for Monaco's first-ever Mathematics Olympiad on 9 June, bringing together students, teachers and organisers to mark the conclusion of a competition that drew 332 volunteer participants from schools across the Principality.

The competition itself took place in late April, making this inaugural edition a genuinely local event with no prior equivalent in Monaco's academic calendar. The scale of voluntary participation — 332 pupils signing up of their own accord — suggests strong appetite among young residents for competitive academic challenges beyond the standard curriculum.
