Monaco holds forum on women in political life

A morning conference on gender equality in Monaco's political and institutional sphere brought together senior figures for a dedicated roundtable discussion.
On Friday 19 June, the Principality hosted a dedicated forum on the place of women in Monegasque political and institutional life. The session was opened by Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of External Relations and Cooperation and President of the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women's Rights, who reaffirmed her commitment to protecting women's rights and combating all forms of violence against them.
The centrepiece of the morning was a roundtable titled "La place des femmes dans la vie politique et institutionnelle monégasque", which gave a platform to speakers drawn from across Monaco's public and civic institutions. The event reflects a broader effort by the Monegasque government to advance gender parity at the highest levels of national decision-making.
