Monaco graduate body launches CID Alumni network

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The Commission d'Insertion des Diplômés is opening a dedicated alumni community to connect past beneficiaries with young graduates still entering the workforce.

The Commission d'Insertion des Diplômés, set up by the Princely Government in 2010 under the Department of Social Affairs and Health, has launched a new alumni network bringing together former programme participants, graduates currently seeking employment, and Monégasque professionals willing to offer mentorship and contacts.

Since its founding, the CID has supported close to 2,700 young people through individual coaching and job-placement assistance, achieving a professional insertion rate of around 78 per cent. The new CID Alumni community is designed to sustain those ties beyond the initial support period, giving graduates a structured network to draw on as their careers develop.

For Monaco residents with children or family members navigating the local and international job market, the initiative represents a practical extension of a programme that has quietly become one of the Principality's more effective social services. Details on joining the community are available through the Department of Social Affairs and Health.
