Monaco E-Prix confirmed on Grand Prix circuit until 2031

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The Automobile Club de Monaco has extended its partnership with Formula E through 2031, securing the E-Prix's place on the street circuit for five more seasons.

The Automobile Club de Monaco and Formula E have confirmed an extension of their agreement that will keep the Monaco E-Prix on the calendar through the 2031 season. The deal ensures the all-electric series continues racing on the same legendary street circuit used by Formula 1, cementing the Principality's position as a fixture on both the traditional and electric single-seater calendars.

For residents and visitors, the extension means at least five further years of a second major motorsport event on the circuit each season. The E-Prix has grown in profile since its revival, and locking in its future removes any uncertainty that had surrounded the race's long-term presence in Monaco.
