Monaco E-Prix 2026: Road Closures and Access Changes
By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial
From 5am on race days, significant road closures will affect the circuit route and surrounding streets across Monte-Carlo and La Condamine.
From 5am on each race day during the 2026 Monaco E-Prix, drivers and pedestrians will lose access to all roads forming the circuit perimeter. Affected routes include the Quai des États-Unis, Route de la Piscine, Appontement Jules Soccal, Darse Sud, Boulevard Albert Ier, Avenue d'Ostende, Place du Casino, Avenue de la Madone (between Avenue des Spélugues and Avenue de Grande-Bretagne), Avenue des Spélugues, Avenue des Citronniers as far as the Métropole car park entrance, and Avenue Princesse Grace.
Residents and property owners in Monte-Carlo and La Condamine should plan well in advance, as the closures take effect before most morning routines begin. Access to underground car parks, residential buildings and businesses within the circuit zone will be subject to separate arrangements confirmed by the Monaco authorities. Those needing to cross or exit the area are advised to complete all necessary journeys before 5am or to use alternative routes identified in the full official guidance published by the government.
