Monaco commits to AIDS-free future with international declaration

Mayor Georges Marsan led the commitment ceremony, joined by members of the Communal Council in affirming Monaco's dedication to this ambitious health goal. The event highlighted the principality's ongoing involvement in global AIDS prevention efforts.
Princess Stephanie, who heads Fight AIDS Monaco, attended the signing alongside Government Counsellor Didier Gamerdinger, responsible for health matters. International representation included Michel Sidibé from UNAIDS and Bertrand Audoin from the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care, underlining the global nature of this initiative.
The declaration represents part of a broader European cities programme, positioning Monaco among municipalities worldwide working towards eliminating AIDS as a public health threat.
