Monaco Boost and MonacoTech showcase startup results

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The Minister of State has visited Monaco's two main business incubators, which have collectively supported 167 companies since their respective openings.

Monaco Boost and MonacoTech received a government visit this week, with the Minister of State touring both facilities to review progress on the Principality's entrepreneurship programmes. The visit, hosted by Julien Dejanovic at Monaco Boost and Chloé Boscagli at MonacoTech, underlined the government's direct engagement with local business development.

The figures behind both organisations reflect steady growth. Since opening in 2021, Monaco Boost has supported 95 companies, the majority founded by Monégasque nationals or their spouses. MonacoTech, which launched in 2017, has backed 72 entrepreneurs over that period, bringing the combined total to 167 businesses nurtured under the two structures.

For residents and property owners, the continued investment in homegrown enterprise signals a deliberate effort to broaden Monaco's economic base beyond finance and real estate. Both organisations operate as key pillars of the government's strategy to retain and develop Monégasque entrepreneurial talent within the Principality.
