Monaco Audiovisual Institute welcomes Minister of State for heritage visit

Minister of State Christophe Mirmand visited the Monaco Audiovisual Institute on Boulevard du Jardin Exotique for an official tour of its facilities and archives. Founded in 1997 and directed by Vincent Vatrican, the Institute is responsible for preserving the Principality's film and audiovisual heritage.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the breadth of the collection, which spans decades of Monegasque cultural life captured on film. The Institute plays a central role in safeguarding this material for future generations, combining archival preservation with public access initiatives.

The Minister of State's engagement with the institution underlines the government's recognition of audiovisual heritage as a valuable cultural asset for the Principality.
