Monaco adds online registration for shore fishing

Recreational anglers in Monaco can now register through MonGuichet.mc under rules introduced in 2025 requiring a mandatory three-year declaration.
Shore fishermen in Monaco have a new way to meet their legal obligations: a dedicated online service on the government's MonGuichet.mc portal allows adults and children alike to submit the mandatory recreational fishing declaration introduced in 2025. The registration is valid for three years and covers fishing from the shoreline within the Principality.
The requirement was brought in to give the authorities a clearer picture of how many people fish recreationally in Monaco and where. Registered anglers can be contacted directly by the Administration if regulations change, which has become increasingly relevant as the Principality refines its marine environment policies. Anyone yet to make their declaration should do so through MonGuichet.mc before fishing from the coast.
