Larvotto Beach to undergo maintenance works this April
The Principality's main public beach will be closed for essential maintenance between 7 and 24 April 2026.
Residents and visitors planning beach outings this spring should note that Larvotto Beach will be temporarily inaccessible during April maintenance works. The seaside facility will be closed from 7 April through 24 April 2026 to allow for essential upkeep.
The timing reflects the Principality's commitment to maintaining its coastal facilities to the highest standards before the busy summer season begins. These annual maintenance periods ensure that Monaco's premier public beach remains in pristine condition for residents and the thousands of visitors who flock to the Mediterranean shoreline each year.
Larvotto Beach, which stretches along the eastern edge of Monaco near the Grimaldi Forum, serves as the Principality's primary public bathing area. The facility features sandy shores created from imported sand, along with comprehensive amenities including restaurants, changing facilities, and water sports equipment rental services.
