Larvotto Beach faces closure for essential maintenance works this April

The principality's main public beach will be inaccessible for over two weeks while important renovation work takes place.

Visitors to Monaco's beloved Larvotto Beach will need to make alternative plans this spring, as the popular seaside destination closes for comprehensive maintenance work from 7th to 24th April.

The temporary closure affects the entire public beach area, which serves as the principality's primary free-access coastal space for both residents and tourists. During this period, beachgoers will be unable to access the sand or swimming areas while essential improvements are carried out.

The timing of the works has been carefully planned to minimise disruption to the summer season, with the beach expected to reopen in full before the peak tourist months. The Larvotto area, which underwent major redevelopment in recent years, requires regular maintenance to preserve its facilities and ensure public safety standards are maintained.
