L2 bus to Salines car park gets extra weekend runs this summer

Three additional buses have been added to the L2 route on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 July through the end of summer, reducing pressure on traffic across the Principality.
The Prince's Government has increased weekend frequency on bus line L2, which links the Salines car park to Monaco-Ville, in a move aimed at easing summer congestion across the Principality. The additional services, three extra buses per day on Saturdays and Sundays, have been running since 4 July 2026 and will continue through the end of the summer season.
For residents and visitors arriving by car at the Salines park-and-ride on the eastern edge of Monaco, the improved timetable means shorter waits and a more practical alternative to driving into the centre. The L2 route is one of the key corridors connecting the outer parking areas to Monaco-Ville, and the boost reflects the Government's ongoing effort to shift weekend traffic onto public transport during the busiest months of the year.
