Jardin Exotique snack-bar opens with sweeping Principality views

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

Two Condamine market traders opened a new affordable snack-bar at the Jardin Exotique in late June 2026, taking on the municipal concession at one of Monaco's highest vantage points.

Rémy Rinaldi and Ricardo da Silva Alves, both familiar faces at the Marché de la Condamine, launched the snack-bar at the Jardin Exotique at the end of June 2026. The site sits on the upper reaches of the Principality, well above the Port Hercule and the Rocher, and commands one of the broadest panoramas available anywhere in Monaco.

The venue operates as a municipal concession, meaning pricing is kept accessible rather than pitched at the luxury end of the market. For residents and visitors making the climb to the botanical garden, it fills a practical gap: a place to stop, eat and take in a view that stretches beyond the Principality's borders on a clear day.

Both operators bring existing ties to local trade in Monaco, which suggests the snack-bar is intended as a genuine neighbourhood facility rather than a seasonal tourist novelty. The Jardin Exotique, perched at around 100 metres above sea level, already draws a steady stream of visitors; the new bar gives them a reason to linger.
