Interactive Gaming Experience Teaches Monaco Students About Party Safety Risks
Secondary school students participate in immersive escape room scenarios designed to educate about dangers in social settings and promote safer choices.
A collaborative prevention initiative is bringing innovative education to Monaco's secondary schools through interactive escape room experiences. The programme, developed by Nice-based company G-Addiction Jeunesse Citoyenne, uses immersive gaming to help students recognise and avoid risky behaviours in social environments.
The Department of National Education, Youth and Sports has partnered with three local organisations to deliver this unique educational approach. Fight Aids Monaco, Be Safe Monaco, and the Monaco Red Cross are supporting the initiative, which aims to strengthen young people's physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
This innovative prevention method moves beyond traditional classroom teaching, engaging students through practical scenarios that mirror real-life situations they might encounter at parties or social gatherings. The escape room format encourages active participation and critical thinking about personal safety choices.
By combining entertainment with education, the programme seeks to create lasting awareness about potential risks while empowering students to make informed decisions in social settings.
