A senior Monégasque delegation has completed an extensive working visit to Madagascar, underscoring the Principality's commitment to one of its most important cooperation partnerships.

Minister of State Serge Telle led the diplomatic mission alongside Foreign Affairs Minister Gilles Tonelli during their stay from 22 November to 2 December 2016. The visit represents the latest chapter in a relationship that has flourished for more than a decade.

Madagascar holds special significance within Monaco's international cooperation strategy, having established itself as a priority partner nation. The Principality has maintained sustained engagement with the Indian Ocean island, focusing on development initiatives that leverage Monaco's expertise and resources.
