Herculis marks 40th anniversary with Stade Louis-II meeting

Stade Louis-II will host a landmark edition of Meeting Herculis EBS on Friday 9 July 2027, marking 40 years since the athletics meeting first brought world-class track and field to the Principality. Organisers have confirmed the programme and opened ticket sales, with the evening expected to draw the usual mix of residents, athletics followers and visitors who fill the Fontvieille stadium each summer.

Over four decades, Herculis has built a reputation for producing extraordinary performances, with ten world records set on its track since the meeting began. That history has made it a fixture on the Diamond League calendar and a point of pride for Monaco's sporting calendar, which otherwise leans heavily on motorsport and football.

For residents, the meeting remains one of the few nights when Fontvieille's stadium becomes the focus of international attention rather than AS Monaco fixtures.
