Christophe Mirmand opened the 26th Assises de la Cybersécurité at the Grimaldi Forum on Wednesday, with around 3,500 delegates attending the four-day event.
The Grimaldi Forum has become the meeting point for the French-speaking cybersecurity world this week, as the 26th edition of Les Assises de la Cybersécurité got underway on Wednesday morning. Minister of State Christophe Mirmand attended the opening, lending official weight to an event that now ranks among the largest gatherings of its kind outside Paris.
Around 3,500 professionals, including chief information security officers, government representatives and industry specialists, are expected to pass through the venue before the conference closes on 10 October. This year's programme is built around the theme of daring, a call for organisations to move beyond defensive postures and take bolder decisions on digital risk.
For Monaco, hosting an event of this scale at the Grimaldi Forum reinforces the Principality's position as a base for high-level business gatherings, bringing hundreds of visitors into hotels and restaurants along the Larvotto seafront during what is typically a quieter week on the events calendar.
