The 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival has closed, with Israeli-Palestinian film Fadia taking three awards and Canal+ series Gomorrah - Les Origines named Best Drama.

The 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival wrapped on Tuesday evening with its closing ceremony and final blue carpet, delivering a palmares dominated by two very different productions. Israeli-Palestinian film Fadia led the night with three prizes, while Gomorrah - Les Origines, the forthcoming Canal+ series exploring the origins of the Neapolitan crime drama, claimed the Best Drama Series award.

Among the other recognised works, a documentary by French journalist and filmmaker Guy Lagache also picked up a prize, adding to a varied and competitive field across this year's competition slate. Actor and singer Marc Lavoine and Miss France were among those walking the blue carpet for the ceremony.

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival, now in its 65th year, remains one of the Principality's most established cultural fixtures, drawing international broadcasters, producers and talent to the Grimaldi Forum each June. This year's edition continued that tradition, with a programme spanning drama, documentary and unscripted formats from across Europe and beyond.
