Four new ambassadors present credentials in Monaco

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

New Zealand, Gabon, Jamaica and Greece have each accredited a new ambassador to the Principality this week.

Four newly accredited ambassadors met with Benjamin Valli, Monaco's Government Advisor-Minister for External Relations and Cooperation, this week as part of the formal accreditation process. The diplomats representing New Zealand, Gabon, Jamaica and Greece were received at the Ministry of External Relations, marking the latest step in strengthening the Principality's bilateral ties.

Her Excellency Joanna Kempkers takes up the post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for New Zealand, while His Excellency Alfred Nguia Banda represents Gabon in the same capacity. Her Excellency Diedre Mills has been accredited as Jamaica's ambassador, and His Excellency Ioannis-Miltiadis Nicolaidis now serves as Greece's ambassador to Monaco.

The honorary consuls of New Zealand and Gabon were among those present for the exchanges, reflecting the network of consular representation that supports Monaco's diplomatic relations with these countries. Accreditations of this kind typically precede a formal audience with Prince Albert II, the final step before an ambassador's credentials are fully recognised by the Principality.
