Fontvieille's Leo Ferré and Zoo escalators back in service

By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial

The mechanical escalators at Leo Ferré square and the Zoo gardens have resumed operation after maintenance works.

Residents and visitors in Fontvieille can once again use the escalators connecting Leo Ferré square and the Zoo gardens after completion of essential maintenance work.

The mechanical walkways, which provide crucial pedestrian links in this bustling district, had been temporarily out of service while technical teams carried out necessary repairs and upgrades.

The restoration of these facilities will ease movement around Fontvieille's key attractions, particularly benefiting families visiting the Zoo and those accessing the commercial areas around Leo Ferré square. The escalators form part of Monaco's commitment to maintaining accessible infrastructure throughout the Principality.
