Minister Isabelle Berro-Amadeï hosted envoys from five nations at the Hôtel Hermitage to mark their diplomatic accreditation to the Principality.
Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Monaco's Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, welcomed five newly accredited ambassadors during a diplomatic luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo on Thursday. The gathering brought together representatives of the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, San Marino, Egypt and Guinea-Bissau, each newly confirmed in their role to the Principality.
Such accreditation events are a regular fixture of Monaco's diplomatic calendar, formalising the working relationships between these states and the Principality's government. The Hermitage, with its Belle Epoque dining rooms overlooking the port, is a frequent venue for this kind of official hospitality.
For residents, these gatherings rarely make headlines beyond a brief notice, but they underline Monaco's continued effort to maintain an active network of bilateral ties despite its small size. The presence of San Marino alongside African and Latin American nations reflects the breadth of relationships the Principality works to sustain through its External Relations ministry.
